Where we are
Our Apartments are located in Castelmola, one of the "most beautiful villages in Italy" located just above Taormina, in the heart of the area, with a splendid view of the Bay of Taormina, Mount Etna and Calabria.
The closest airport is that of Catania (CT) located about 50 km (50 minutes) from Castelmola.
For those arriving by car, the Taormina exit on the A18 motorway is just 7 kilometers from Castelmola.
How to reach us
- BY CAR
- Highway A18 (MESSINA CATANIA) Exit Taormina, then continue towards Taormina city. Near the Lumbi multi-storey car park, take the adjacent tunnel and at the exit, just 150 meters away, continue towards Castelmola, Hotel Villa Sonia here you will find us who will guide you to the apartment. A19 motorway (PALERMO CATANIA) Catania ring road exit, continue towards Messina taking the A18 motorway (Messina Catania). Exit at Taormina, then continue towards Taormina city. Near the Lumbi multi-storey car park, take the adjacent tunnel and at the exit, continue towards Castelmola, Hotel Villa Sonia here you will find us who will guide you to the apartment.
- ON THE TRAIN
- TAORMINA - GIARDINI NAXOS Railway Station From any destination you come from, you must use the Messina - Catania - Syracuse railway line and get off at the Taormina - Giardini Naxos station. From here continue towards Castelmola by taxi or bus to Castelmola, (Hotel Villa Sonia is adjacent to the bus stop, here you will find us who will guide you to the apartment). Private shuttle on request for a fee.

- Catania "Vincenzo Bellini" International Airport Catania International Airport is connected to all the main destinations in the world. If you are using a rental car, take the ring road with an entrance at about 500 meters. from the airport and then the A18 Catania / Messina motorway and continue towards Messina, with the Taormina exit.
